Tyk joins 2020 scale up club of high-growth tech companies

Each year, a group of the UK’s fastest growing companies are selected to be part of the Silicon Valley comes to the UK  Scale Up Club. These companies are the next ‘game-changers’ – businesses that are scaling fast and making waves in the tech ecosystem.

Founded by LinkedIn Founder Reid Hoffman,  Sherry Coutu CBE and Ellen Levy, SVC2UK aims to deepen relationships between leading tech eco systems Silicon Valley and the UK.

We’re proud to have been selected this year and have enjoyed meeting the rest of the cohort and mentors.

The idea behind Tyk was developed when the company’s founder, Martin Buhr, couldn’t find a lightweight, performant, and flexible API Gateway – so he built one himself and open sourced it. Since then, Tyk has grown to over 80 staff, across 27 countries and has clients around the world including Domino’s and Capital One.
