1.Tyk Hybrid Accounts
A Tyk Hybrid account is the same as a Tyk Cloud account, so in order to set up your hybrid gateways, you’ll need to first have a Tyk Cloud account set up, and then upgrade it to a Tyk Hybrid-enabled account.
This guide will walk you through the steps to create a Cloud account and then update it.
2.Create an account
To create an account with Tyk Cloud is very quick and free, to do:
Visit our Tyk Cloud Signup Page and enter your details:
Your company name will be used to generate your cloud endpoint, this is where your API Developer Portal will be hosted, and also your Tyk Cloud API endpoints for any APIs that you create.
Note: If you change the password in your cloud account page it will not change the password in your dashboard.
3.Upgrade to Hybrid
To upgrade to Tyk Hybrid, once logged into your Cloud Accounts Page, select the “Hybrid” plan option and follow the steps to upgrade your account.
Once your credit card details have been added, you will be sent an on-boarding email that will explain how to get started with Tyk Hybrid, alternatively, use the guides on this help site.
4.Log into your cloud dashboard
From your cloud account page, to get to your cloud dashboard, select “Account Overview” in the navigation:
And then select the large button to take you to the cloud dashboard:
This will present you with a new login screen for our cloud dashboard, to go there directly simply visit the page directly, the username and password will be the same as your username and password when you created your account.
