Getting started with the portal requires only one thing: a working sub-domain
The Tyk portal only requires one thing: a working domain name to bind to. So the first thing to do, is to ensure that you have a domain name set up, either with an
A record pointing at your dashboard instance, or a
hosts file entry that mimics this behaviour.
Once this is done, browse to your dashboard, and select “Your Developer ortal” -> “Set your portal domain” and enter your domain name.
The portal will then be available on
http://yourdomain.com/portal/ (or whatever you have set as your
portal_root in your configuration file).
Once this has been completed, you can set up the portal using the Portal Settings screen.
